The Newspaper Ferry


After Newspapers were outlawed, the last of the journalists bought the famed art deco ferry boat the Kalakala and started writing and printing newspapers on it. Small rowboats would clandestinely take the papers in each morning before dawn, handing them off to a group of hoodlum delivery boys who lived in shacks and submersibles down along the docks.
