Doc Snock f.k.a Michael Hurley with unidentified Genius

“I’m playing for the nice night-life type. If you are with your girl and you feel romantic, maybe you wanna drink some wine and light a candle. I wanna appeal to you. I’ll play your requests. I’m not playing for the museum crowd that just wants to make an anthropological report on the sociological impact of Doc Snock. It’s for the action crowd.” - Michael Hurley

The Singing Menonites of Am-Track

Baby Gramps On Vinyl, 1986

Very Rare record given to me by Matt and Jennifer. They found it at a Value Village in Bremerton. On it Baby Gramps plays his song "Old Man of the Sea" recorded live at Folk Life in 1986. He later played the song on the 2006(?) album Rogue's Gallery, produced by Johnny Depp(and some other guys) for ANTI Records. Album also features Loudon Wainwright III.
